Liam Bates is a poet originally from the Black Country, now based in Lancashire. His poems have featured in publications including Ambit, bath magg, Abridged and Anthropocene and have been recognised in competitions by Magma, the Bridport Prize, Wolverhampton Literature Festival and Creative Future. His debut full-length collection, Human Townsperson, is available from Broken Sleep Books.
