Matthew Haigh

Matthew Haigh is a queer, disabled poet from Cardiff. He is the author of Death Magazine (Salt, nominated for the Polari Prize), and Vampires (Bad Betty, shortlisted for the Michael Marks Award). His work has been published in Poetry Review, The Forward Book of Poetry, The Guardian, Magma, Rialto, Poetry London and Poetry Wales. His work has also appeared in the anthology 100 Queer Poems (Vintage) and several anthologies from Macmillan. He received a kidney transplant in 2026.
