Punchline

Rounding the corner and lying by omission I approach you. Something very serious is happening. Why do I stop in the shade of some tree whose name I don’t know because of our small degraded lines, to tell a joke. Not even a joke, something approaching a joke. Half a joke’s a total failure. It’s frightening and reinvented. Anyway we’ll laugh about it. Anyway I mind it faithlessly. Now have you just run or are you going to run. Must I take off my pretty dress / of course not. I’m giving you a thing you can’t accept.
